Roswell Rapids Adult Swim Team FAQs...
If I sign up for practices with the City of Roswell, am I required to participate in meets?
No, not at all. Participating in meets is optional, but A LOT of fun - so we'll try very very hard to convince you!
If I can't attend all of the practices, is that OK?
Yep, you are welcome to attend as many or as few practices as you'd like. We understand adult schedules can be hectic.
If I only come to a few practices, do I still need to register with the City of Roswell?
Yes. Due to liability reasons, you must register for the program through the City of Roswell in order to attend any Adult Roswell Rapids practices.
If I want to compete in the Grown-Up Swimming/Atlanta Adult Swim League for the Roswell Rapids, but I train elsewhere, do I have to register for practices with the City of Roswell?
No, you do not have to do one in order to do the other. All that is required to compete in the Atlanta Adult Swim League meets is registration through the league and paying the league fee.
Am I required to purchase a team suit?
We do have Roswell Rapids team suits every summer, but they are optional for the Adult Team. If you would like to order a team suit, please visit All American Swim located at 885 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, GA 30075, or call (770) 400-9870. Just let them know you're with the Roswell Rapids.

Grown-Up Swimming? What the heck is that?
A goofy league for folks 18 and over who want to have a laid-back atmosphere to race and be social.
Kinda like slow pitch softball?
Exactly, or summer league swimming for grownups.
Cookouts? Are there really cookouts?
Yep, most of the host pools will run a grill and concession stand for all of your caloric needs!
I can’t just leave my kids at home with their dad on a Saturday night…
Bring ‘em! Most meets will start off with a “multi- generation” relay, so you can even swim with them! Also, why isn’t Dad swimming too?
